Going with the flow

We work with the water element in winter and the idea of going with the flow. Winter is the the yin, inwards focused time of the year. A time for reflection and to nurture oneself. The meridians we focus on are the kidney and bladder. Our yoga practice is slow and mindful with gentle hip opening postures and forward folds.

Spring

New beginnings

Spring is a time for renewal and new growth. The energy is moving up and moving from the yin of winter to the yang phase of summer. We focus on the liver and gall bladder meridians and organs in our seasonal yoga practice and move into a more dynamic practice.

Put love into whatever you do

The fire element is at its peak in summer. We focus on the heart and small intestines and have fun with our practice. We use asana to open across the heart area and release shoulder tension.

Letting go

A time to let go. To focus on the breath using pranayama. We focus on the lung and large intestine meridians - the organs of release.
